Firstly, just create a list of your monthly income and expenses. Housing, transportation, utilities, food, alimony, child support, bank loan or other important payments and make them your top priority. This really helps you from making outstanding payments and over spending. Write down other expenses such as entertainment and determine whether your income covers all of your expenses.
